Job description

Title : Customer Relations Specialist

Location : Montvale, New Jersey (On-Site)

Compensation : $51,000 - $55,000

A well-established manufacturing company in Montvale, New Jersey is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to join their growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a stable schedule ( Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM ) and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities include :

  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of customer, vendor, and staff information.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with customers through proactive, transparent communication.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Coordinate between departments to ensure production plans meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Partner with purchasing to confirm availability of components for orders and quotes.
  • Monitor and resolve issues impacting supply continuity and delivery timelines.
  • Manage customer orders, including price review, delivery coordination, and ERP data entry.
  • Analyze open orders, forecasts, and shipping requirements to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain updated purchase order, pricing, and revision details in the ERP system.
  • Oversee shipping schedules, documentation, and carrier coordination.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution.
  • Support and train Customer Relations Associates to promote team collaboration and engagement.
  • Adhere to all company policies and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in customer relations, order management, or supply chain support preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
