Staff Software Engineer, Compute

You will design, implement, and maintain high-performance, distributed systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize query execution from ingestion to consumption. Accountabilities :

• Design, build, and maintain a high-performance Compute layer for analytical workflows.
• Lead architecture discussions focused on query engines, distributed systems, and storage solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and Security teams to deliver scalable and reliable compute solutions.
• Develop services, APIs, and features that optimize performance, availability, and user experience.
• Solve ambiguous technical challenges, balancing constraints with product goals and user needs.
• Establish best practices in testing, observability, and system reliability.
• Mentor engineers across the company and foster technical growth and collaboration.
• Influence engineering culture and strategic direction across multiple teams or domains.
