• Work on a 28-bed medical-surgical unit providing 24 / 7 nursing care
• Patient ratios range from 1 : 5 to 1 : 6
• Float assignment required
• Must work every other weekend and holiday
• BLS certification required
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Must have nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Maximum of 7 days RTO accepted
• No block scheduling permitted
• RTO must be submitted at time of application
• Care for geriatric patients aged 65 and older requiring acute care or close observation
• Handle overflow medical and surgical patients
• Work with patients presenting various diagnoses including GIB, UTI, trauma, infection, pneumonia, CHF, change in mental status, and failure to thrive
• Utilize evidence-based 4Ms framework : What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility
