About The Position
As the Assistant Vice President, Credit Administration, you will work closely with the VP of Credit Administration in the analysis of credit approval documents, annual reviews, pre-funding or pre-loan purchase qualification, portfolio management, training, reporting, projects, compliance, loan audits or loan reviews, and follow up on trailing documents and exception reports. The primary business areas supported will be in specialty finance, healthcare finance, and leasing.
What You Will Do
- Prepare department loan data and provide reports for the department and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state lending regulations.
- Perform consistent and accurate analysis of credit requests and annual reviews to make sound credit decisions.
- Assist in training of new or less experienced team members.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper financial data is collected and reported.
- Monitor for loan delinquency and be proactive to seek resolution.
- Review pre-funding loan packages prior to loan purchase and review documentation prior to loan funding.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
A minimum of three years of experience in commercial credit and cash flow analysis.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field of study preferred. Equivalent and relevant work experience would be considered.Proven ability to make sound credit decisions.A basic understanding of accounting principles.Prior experience in reading and understanding all types of business financial statements, and personal and business tax returns.Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of the dental, veterinary, optometry and franchise finance industry a plus.Familiarity with Tableau is a plus.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are met.Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and bring new ideas to the table.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with an ability to clearly isolate and define problems.Able to adapt quickly while utilizing good judgment.Strong customer focus and ability to provide personalized service to both internal and external customers.Working Conditions / Demands
