Role: Cloud Architect

Location : Washington, DC (Onsite)
Job Description :

Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
2. Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.
3. Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product.
4. Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks.
5. Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
6. Functions as a niche technical SME.
7. Lead experience with technical expertise across large, complex implementations for systems.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Security and compliance frameworks (Zero Trust, encryption: 5 years (Preferred)
• Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash: 5 years (Preferred)
• Monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure: 5 years (Preferred)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps: 3 years (Preferred)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes): 3 years (Preferred)
• 11-15 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts: 1 year (Preferred)
• major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud): 10 years (Preferred)
• translate business requirements into technical architecture: 10 years (Preferred)
• hybrid and multi-cloud architectures: 10 years (Preferred)
• Demonstratable with Hybrid converged datacenters and clouds: 10 years (Preferred)
• Design and implementation of cloud solutions: 7 years (Preferred)
• Cost optimization, Risk assessment: 7 years (Preferred)
• mitigation planning for cloud infrastructure: 7 years (Preferred)
• Networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancing: 5 years (Preferred)
