American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a MO or compact RN license, with Cath Lab and Epic documentation experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Hospital-based Cath Lab with 3 cath rooms and 2 EP rooms, currently one EP room under renovationHandles an average of 18-20 adult cases per day with coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional proceduresDay shifts are 4x10 hours per week, with shift start times between 6 : 30 AM and 10 : 00 AMOn-call obligations are up to 2 days per week and every other weekend, with a four-person call team and at least 2 RNs requiredSpecialized equipment includes MacLab hemodynamics, Acist, Synchvision, and X-ray equipment from Philips and SiemensEpic is used for documentation and experience is requiredTravelers may be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearbyResponsibilities include circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry monitoring in a high-volume Cath LabOrientation and required modules must be completed prior to startScrubs are provided by the facilityFree parking is available for staffMust not have been a permanent employee at any facility in this system within the past yearMaximum 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; no time off permitted the first weekFacial hair must accommodate fit testing standards for required mask use; shaving may be requiredNo medical marijuana cards acceptedAdult patient population only\n \n Requirements\n
Active MO or compact RN license required at time of considerationMinimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experienceCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredAbility to circulate, perform conscious sedation, and monitor telemetry; scrub experience preferredExperience with Epic charting requiredStructural heart experience and MacLab hemodynamic monitoring preferredNo local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radiusMust provide two professional supervisory references within the past two yearsFirst-time travelers are accepted\n Benefits\n
