The Job:

As Purchasing Clerk, you'll be part of our Operations team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:

• Maintain accounts payable process. Coordinate resolution on exceptions by working with buyers for verification. Process exceptions on Client Dashboard, Invoice Exceptions Dashboard & Metastorm
• Correspond with vendors to resolve open issues in timely manner
• Correspond with other departments on purchasing related issues
• Maintain purchase orders requiring annual renewal for services to meet Sarbanes requirements
• Assist with physical inventory
• Assist with entering sales orders
• Assist with answering and forwarding incoming calls main line only
• Assist with scheduling of trucks
• Assist in facilitating file storage process
• General filing
• Special projects as required
• Other duties as assigned

The Person:

• 1+ year experience in an accounts payable and/or manufacturing receiving administrative role.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-directed with his/her workload.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
