Job Summary :

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team! This position is located in Los Angeles, California.

Duties :

• Prepare monthly journal entries to book prepaid expenses and associated amortization, accruals, reclassifications, allocations, etc., ensuring that all entries are completed on a timely basis via Workday
• Prepare monthly benefit allocations for the various corporate fringe pools
• Perform all tasks via Excel utilizing Pivot Tables, Macros, and advanced formulas and functions
• Analyze monthly invoices, recommending accruals and reclassifications to improve financial accuracy
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts with divisional counterparts
• Book monthly claims and reimbursement charges for health care, 401K, transit fees, and health savings accounts by fringe pool
• Assist with performing self-insured plans reconciliations
• Partner with Payroll, Human Resources, Information Technology, and any other groups that impacts benefits processing or activities to ensure appropriate financial accounting of transactions
• Perform ad hoc projects and reporting as required

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $100,000 - $116,000 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
