Computer Operator

Description :

Shift : Saturday to Monday and every other Tuesday. 7PM-7AM

Long term contract with potential to convert to a perm role.

First couple of weeks you will work onsite, once your leads are comfortable with your training you are welcome to go hybrid. Typically, on site 2-3 days a week. You will also work day shift for the first week or two in order to get training.

We are looking for someone who has some type of technical skills or schooling who is looking to get into IT and is willing to work in the Command Center. We will train them and expose them to our Command Center, data center and IT as a whole. The person would need to be strong in multitasking, a quick learner, good communicator, team player and be able to handle a fast past workload.

The majority of the job is monitoring.

Experience is not required but if you have experience / education with mainframe, Scheduling, Service Manager, UNIX, LINUX, Windows, Cherwell Ticketing System, Dynatrace, SolarWinds that is a plus. Light SQL experience and Linux troubleshooting (being able to navigate different directories, pick up log files) would be a plus as well as Monitoring Tools, Troubleshooting and SolarWinds.
