Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Temp - RN - Med Surg (Nights) Petoskey, MI Description Level 2 North is a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and is the stroke unit for the hospital. It is a challenging fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities for both graduate and experienced nurses.Nursing on this unit is patient-centered and focused on patient safety and delivery of quality care for positive patient outcomes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clinical Expertise : Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient / significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
• Knowledge : Seeks life-long learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review.
• Leadership / Credibility : Demonstrates leadership through sharing of knowledge, being a clinical resource, and professional role model.
• Communication : Demonstrates effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication.
• Productivity : Demonstrates enhanced time management skills and ability to assist others in order to contribute to the overall performance of the team.
• Performs other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed by general and unit-specific competency-based objectives.
