We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, providing crucial support to our attorneys in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting pleadings and legal documents, managing discovery, and preparing for trial. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for the law, and a dedication to client service.

Responsibilities :

1. Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.

2. Conduct legal research and factual investigation.

3. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.

4. Manage and organize complex litigation materials, including creating and maintaining databases for litigation documents.

5. Coordinate document productions and review, analyze, and summarize documents.

6. Assist with deposition preparation, including preparing witness question outlines.

7. Coordinate with expert witnesses and manage expert materials.

8. Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.

9. Manage and coordinate complex case calendars, deadlines, and case-related events.

10. Maintain communication with clients and provide timely updates regarding case progress.

Qualifications :

1. Experience as a litigation paralegal.

2. Extensive experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

3. Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems.

4. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.

5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.

9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

10. Strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality rules.

11. Experience in trial preparation and managing discovery is preferred.
