OVERVIEW

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks an Atelier Coordinator to join the Atelier based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare trim packages
• Scan & cut patterns
• Update patterns on a hard drive
• Prepare cut ticket packages for sewers and factories
• Shorten zippers for trim packages
• Set up of thread and sewing trials
• Setting up charts for production
• Ordering and set up of meals
• Knowledge of sewing construction and patterns making preferred
• Ability to multitask, understand urgency

SALARY & BENEFITS

The compensation for this position ranges from $20 hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. Marc Jacobs uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward all levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.
