The intern will contribute to research, analysis, and project support across innovation and implementation efforts, gaining hands-on experience in shaping the future of energy.

This is a summer May-August 2026 internship in St. Louis, MO .

Key Focus Areas

• Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) : Support analysis and implementation of DER integration strategies, including solar, battery storage, and microgrids.
• Renewable Energy Technologies : Research and evaluate new technologies and business models for renewable generation.
• Grid Modernization & Strategy : Assist in developing strategic roadmaps for innovation and implementation across Ameren's service territory.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with engineering, regulatory, and customer experience teams to support pilot projects and strategic initiatives.
