About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Surgical Tech

Experience : Minimum 5 years for CVOR and 2 years for General OR

License : CST preferred

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• Graduation from an accredited program
• Minimum years of experience required : 5 years for CVOR, 2 years for General OR
• Will consider first-time travelers based on experience

Description :

This position involves working in a surgical tech role focused on cardiovascular operating room procedures.

The facility has a total of 637 licensed beds with a Level 1 trauma designation and is recognized as a teaching hospital.

There are 20 OR rooms and 2 cystoscopy rooms available for surgeries.

Common diagnoses treated include general surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgeries.

Required skills and discussion points will be covered during the interview with the manager.

Technology used includes EMR systems and various medical equipment.

Schedule includes a weekend and call rotation, requiring 6-8 calls per month.

Holiday call may also be required.

RTO requests must be approved by leadership.
