Facility Engineer Manager

Responsibilities
NBC Sports is looking for a Facility Engineer Manager to join the team located in Stamford, CT. This position will be responsible for overseeing and operating critical systems, managing engineering staff, EHS compliance, emergency preparedness, and maintenance management. Responsibilities include : overseeing the maintenance and operation of critical HVAC and electrical infrastructure within the NBC Sports facility, managing facility electricians and a team of multi-skilled facility engineers who perform maintenance and repairs, providing supervision for vendors under Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and Fire and Life Safety, overseeing capital improvement and maintenance projects and budgets in the Stamford & Monroe facility from planning through execution, monitoring building management systems and ensuring the upkeep and optimal functionality, responsible for conducting building maintenance and inspections of space and facility systems, administering and maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all work orders and Preventative Maintenance (Archibus), developing, scheduling, and ensuring completion of all Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities for facility systems, developing Methods Of Procedures (MOPs) for critical tasks, updating and maintaining the facility's Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) documentation, directing and executing system repairs and routine maintenance across the critical facility environment, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date asset tracking system for all critical facility equipment, collaborating directly with internal stakeholders across the building to manage their project requests and space needs, and arranging for skill and safety training for facility staff.
Basic Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, minimum 5+ years' of related experience, demonstrated experience in the maintenance, monitoring of HVAC, and other facility management systems, previous project management experience with the ability to read and interpret plans and diagrams, proven experience managing critical electrical and HVAC systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, and CRAC units, familiarity in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or work order system, strong interpersonal and management skills along with familiarization with key television technology and equipment.
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or a related discipline), certification in facilities management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or trade-specific licenses (e.g., Master Electrician, HVAC), direct experience with Broadcast Media or Data Center infrastructure, advanced proficiency with Johnson Controls Metasys BMS, experience implementing energy efficiency programs and sustainability initiatives, basic knowledge of broadcast or production logistics or related preferred, strong communication skills, hands on experience with plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, and plan reading, proficient in MS Office applications with a focus on spreadsheets using Excel and creating documents in PowerPoint, demonstrates a resourceful and forward-thinking approach to anticipating and resolving infrastructure issues before they impact operations, maintains composure and makes sound, quick decisions during critical infrastructure emergencies and outages, exhibits strong fiscal management skills, particularly in developing budgets, managing vendor contracts, and overseeing capital expenditures, customer service-oriented mindset.
