Civic Center Pharmacy has been compounding custom sterile and non-sterile medications since 1996. Our patient-focused philosophy has facilitated our growth in size and reputation.

Responsibilities :

• Pharmacist reviews prescriptions (including compounded prescriptions) and dispenses prescribed drugs according to regulatory requirements and guidelines
• Pharmacist shall follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures
• Pharmacist responds to patients and providers questions about medications and advises about drug safety and potential interactions
• Pharmacist manages the transfer of prescriptions, incoming physician calls and drug utilization review
• Pharmacist ensures patient records are correctly input and maintained
• Pharmacist supervises technicians according to state requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a Pharmacy. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Compounding knowledge for non-sterile products is also necessary.
