The Metropolitan Airports Commission is looking for a Building Official to lead critical construction oversight at MinneapolisSt. Paul International Airport one of the nation's busiest and most dynamic transportation hubs. In this pivotal role, you'll work under the direction of the Vice President of Planning and Development. Lead the building permit process from start to finishreviewing plans, issuing permits, and conducting inspections for both MAC and tenant projects. Ensure safety and compliance with all applicable building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire, and occupancy codes. Collaborate across departments and with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to keep projects on track and up to code. Issue certificates of occupancy after confirming all requirements are met. Shape policy and streamline processes for permit applications and recordkeeping, helping to enhance efficiency and support modern construction practices at the airport.
