ERA Health Research is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join their Redmond, WA clinic. The Clinical Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations, administration, and staffing of the clinic, reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth patient access, scheduling, project management, and maintaining study quality assurance standards. The Clinical Operations Manager collaborates with leadership and key stakeholders to align strategic goals with operational activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the operational and administrative functions of the clinic, including front desk oversight, patient access, daily scheduling, project management, and study quality assurance.
- Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to support clinic, administrative, and research teams (EDC & Specimen Management).
- Ensure proper clinic staffing levels to meet patient visit requirements.
- Directly oversee personnel across clinical, ED, front desk, specimen management, and EDC teams.
- Handle hiring, staff development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and separations when necessary.
- Assist in long-term planning and program coordination, including anticipating staffing and space needs, as well as adapting to new procedures, equipment, and technological advancements.
- Establish metrics to ensure staff adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement opportunities for staff to maintain and enhance individual skills and competencies.
- Lead staff through ERA initiatives and process changes.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to work seamlessly and provide tangible support to revenue generating activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in a Clinical Operational leadership role, including 2 years of Clinical Research experience.Previous experience leading a team and managing day-to-day clinic workflows.Ability to plan, assign, and / or delegate, and supervise the work of others.Ability to work well with team members toward a common purpose and reinforce the efforts and goals of the work group.Ability to support employee growth, address performance issues, and resolve conflicts professionally.Experience managing hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management processes.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution skills.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.High attention to detail.Ability to manage and lead in a busy setting with competing demands for time and resources.Knowledge of clinical and administrative protocols, procedures, and standards, including quality assurance.Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies and procedures.Experience with Microsoft Office.PAY & BENEFITS
Pay Range : $120,000 / yearly - $140,000 / yearly
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
