ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule

    • \n

  • Must work 2 of 4 major holidays

    • \n

  • Ability to self-schedule (subject to change)

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 4

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required (within past 6 months)

    • \n

  • Strong cardiac telemetry background required, preferably 2 years

    • \n

  • Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer through RELIAS (2 attempts maximum)

    • \n

  • Pass / fail simulation lab on first day of orientation

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA or APEX)

    • \n

  • Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently

    • \n

  • Ability to titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders

    • \n

  • Care for ED hold patients waiting for unit placement, primarily medical / surgical and telemetry patients

    • \n

  • May assist with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration

    • \n

  • Float to medical / surgical / telemetry / overflow units and other emergency departments as needed

    • \n

  • Navy scrub color required

    • \n

  • 2 shifts orientation to medical / surgical / telemetry at primary campus

    • \n

  • Chart using Cerner system

    • \n

  • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

    This major medical center operates as a Level 1 trauma facility providing comprehensive acute care services. The facility features a 60-bed emergency department with access to advanced cardiac services and specialty care. The organization maintains high standards for cardiac care and utilizes modern technology including Cerner charting systems. The facility serves as a regional referral center with multiple locations and emphasizes quality patient outcomes through specialized nursing care.
