Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Registered Nurse Unit : CCU / ICU Location : Chico, CA 95926 Shift : NOC 12 hr, 7pm start Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Duration : 13 weeks Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong CCU / ICU background and a minimum of 3 years of acute care experience. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality critical care nursing, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and deliver compassionate patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. Roles & Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in the CCU / ICU setting. Assess, monitor, and manage patient conditions, including responding to emergencies. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and family members to coordinate care. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care and clinical practice. Skills : Advanced critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills. Proficiency in ventilator management and ICU monitoring equipment. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations. Excellent documentation, time management, and patient-care coordination skills. Must have prior traveler experience Must be proficient in EPIC charting / computer systems.
