Operate a material handler equipped with an electro magnet, grapple, and / or bucket. Responsibilities include :

• Responsible for scrap inspection as it is being loaded.
• Inspects the material handler for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
• Operates mobile equipment as needed.
• Communicates and directs co-workers through two-way radio and hand signals.
• Assists maintenance with cleaning on down days.
• Occasionally work overtime and weekends as needed.
