About The Position

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Neurology for Locum opportunity in Portsmouth, VA

Start Date : As soon as credentialed!

Schedule : 8a-5p, call schedule 5p-8a; weekend call 8a-8a

Position Overview :

  • Starting ASAP
  • Schedule 8am-5pm; Call Schedule 5pm-8am; weekend call 8a-8a
  • Clinic / hospital setting
  • Call Ratio 15%
  • Percentage of Practice : Adult 100%; Outpatient : 50%; Inpatient : 50%
  • Average number of patients a day : 8
  • Average number of hospital-based patients a day : 3
  • Will Other Neurologists be Present During Locum's Assignment? Yes
  • How Many Physicians in Your Group?  2
  • How Many Advanced Practice Providers in Your Group? 1
  • Lab onsite : Yes, X-Ray onsite : Yes
  • Office Ancillary Staff : 2 LPN, 1 MA
  • Documentation : Epic / Connect Care
  • Required Neurology Procedures : Radiologic Exam Interpretation (Unofficial), EEG (Electroencephalogram), Brain Death Exam, EMG (Electromyogram)
