Senior Reliability Engineer - Plymouth, MN; Faribault, MN or Staunton, VA - Hybrid

Daikin Applied is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Reliability Engineer to join our rapidly growing organization. This role will research, plan, develop, design, and conduct reliability tests on HVAC&R components, products, and systems by performing the duties listed below. Location : Hybrid, Plymouth, MN; Faribault, MN or Staunton, VA

What you will do :

• Lead the FMEA process and provide design support by identifying design weaknesses
• Identify key reliability benchmarking, goal setting, and testing associated with DAA products
• Develop and implement reliability improvement plan for components / systems associated with DAA products
• Deliver significant reliability improvements as measured by engineering, manufacturing, and service, and project the total life cycle costs of predicted reliability through the life of the parts
• Conduct physics based reliability calculations with qualification tests to validate calculations / predictions
• Establish reliability procedures and tests
• Identify product failure modes and defects
• Drive system and subsystem assessments and predictions during design
• Make design recommendations to improve reliability and resolve conflicting requirements
• Conduct specification of associated test equipment

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $109,100 - $183,200 plus a 15% bonus in Minnesota and Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
