Service and Delivery Technician

Territory : 350 Miles Radius Yanceyville, NC (Some Overnight Travel Required)

May Live In : Durham, NC or Greensboro, NC or Danville, Va.

What Youll Do :

  • Equipment and Materials Delivery, Equipment Installation and Service, Customer Training
  • Install new Chemical Delivery Systems at Asphalt Manufacturing Plants
  • Deliver PavePro chemical products (bulk totes or concentrate) to customer locations
  • During delivery, perform basic preventive maintenance on spray systems (e.g., check hoses, clean filters, topoff tanks). Off-load product - Blend concentrate by adding water.
  • Troubleshoot any existing system issues and repair.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, fuel card, and delivery logs within vehicle.
  • Communicate proactively with customers to confirm delivery windows and system readiness.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years experience in mechanical and equipment maintenance.
  • 2+ years safe driving experience; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Experience operating heavyduty trucks or towing lightweight trailers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; able to perform repairs and adjustments on chemical delivery equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 150 ft above ground level.
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Must have a current DOT physical (Medical Examiners Certificate) or be able to obtain one prior to start
  • Willing to Travel Overnight - Up To 350 Miles, Overnight Travel Expected to be less than 50% - No Weekends.
