Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a Program Manager 1 to support the Advanced RF Sensors (ARFS) Operating Unit onsite in Linthicum, MD. The department has responsibility for growing the sector portfolio of technology and programs in emerging systems focused on advanced radar and Electronic Warfare (EW) technologies. Focus areas include emerging technology, disruptive innovation, rapid prototyping, and transitioning of discriminating technology to sector operating divisions.

What You'll Get to Do :

• Serve in a deputy Program Manager role on one or more contractual research and development (CRAD) programs and / or strategic internal R&D (IRAD) projects.
• Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program(s), as well as interfacing with internal and external customers, vendors, and company support organizations.
• Support delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements.
• Identify, allocate, and manage program resources, including workforce planning.
• Prepare charts and briefings on status / progress and processes; delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.
• Work closely with Business Management, GSC, Security, Ops, Mission Assurance, Business Development, IT, and E&S to drive program success.
