Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Port Deposit, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of heavy equipment at a sand and gravel plant, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities :

• Effectively operate a front-end loader, dozer, haul truck, and / or excavator.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Interact with customers, co-workers, and management courteously and respectfully.
• Maintain constant awareness of safety and efficiency, displaying flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment :

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Deposit, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
