Description :

You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for LockheedMartin Missile and Fire Control programs. Our team is responsible for designing, evaluating, and qualifying circuit cards and test hardware that enable mission critical systems to operate reliably in harsh environments, including radiation rich space platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Circuit Card Design Engineer, you will lead the creation of analog front ends and LVDS video interfaces, drive hardware debugging through qualification and test phases, and partner with cross functional partners to turn concepts into flight ready hardware. You will support the Integration & Test (I&T) effort, develop evaluation boards, and ensure documentation and analysis meet stringent verification requirements. Your responsibilities will include :

Designing and prototyping analog and signal conditioning circuits, including LVDS video links and close proximity electronics.

Developing and fabricating evaluation boards and test interface hardware for system level integration and testing.

Performing schematic capture, layout, and simulation using analog design tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Altium, Mentor Graphics).

Debugging hardware issues in the lab, diagnosing failures, and implementing corrective changes after test events.

Supporting IT&E teams to move units through qualification, including Radiation Qualification and other environmental studies required by LM Space or the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Generating and maintaining detailed design documentation, test plans, and verification reports in compliance with program standards.

Conducting simulations and analyses (thermal, signal integrity, radiation effects) to predict performance and mitigate risks.

Traveling to fabrication sites (e.g., Ocala) for board build oversight, post process inspections, and issue resolution.

Collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and test engineers to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of hardware.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, such as design for manufacturability and cost reduction studies.
