Responsibilities :
- Provide clinical and administrative support and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track x-ray orders for timely completion.
- Assist patients with proper positioning during exams to ensure diagnostic quality.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and understand health information management issues such as HIPAA.
- Review exam images for initial reading by provider.
- Send final images to the Radiology group for review.
- Ensure proper labeling and confirm absence of artifacts in the requested anatomy.
- Address minor maintenance issues with x-ray equipment and report any problems to the Imaging Director.
- Maintain pregnancy waiver forms where applicable.
- Triage patients by recording vitals and collecting clinical history.
- Perform blood draws, injections, and other nursing tasks as applicable.
- Monitor and report monthly on X-Ray badge usage.
- Welcome new employees and facilitate their introductions to the team.
- Provide training and support for new staff through job shadowing and coaching.
- Maintain positive relationships with all team members and ensure a friendly work atmosphere.
- Perform all physical and cognitive tasks associated with the role.
- Comply with company standards and core values, including teamwork and quality of care.
Experience Requirements :
Current License or Certification :
ARRT License (Registered Technologist)State License (Registered Technologists and Limited Scope)Active license in good standing, verifiable with the proper regulatory agency.TB and IV certification required within 60 days of employment.Additional Requirements :
