Facilities Director

Parsons is looking for a talented Facilities Director to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead and oversee critical real estate and facilities management efforts supporting a major program and construction management team dedicated to delivering a significant infrastructure project central to the United States' border security programs.

As part of Parsons' anticipated role, we will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services, including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Coordinate with the external Government customer at a high level to gather Project Real Estate acquisition data for use in developing the overall project schedule
  • Collaborate with the Project operational team in the Parsons DC and Centreville, VA offices to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them
  • Work with the external customer (both DHS and USACE) to resolve land acquisition challenges

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 10+ years of related experience in Real Estate and Land Acquisition Management
  • Strong knowledge of Real Estate transactions, including Eminent Domain
  • Proven leadership in all phases of Real Estate and Facilities Management
  • Ability to manage and execute mitigation solutions for land acquisition challenges
  • Expertise in project scheduling and estimating
  • Experience in managing capital projects, build-outs, and overall Facilities Management
  • What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA CFM, FMP, or PMP)
  • Familiarity with federal government processes and regulations, particularly DHS and USACE
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with government agencies and internal teams
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for land acquisition analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project or Primavera P6
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive program success
