Med Surg Step Down Unit RN - Night Shift

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg Step Down Unit, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic teaching hospital. The role requires experience in managing drips, infusions, and starting IVs, as well as providing care within a fast-paced environment. You will have the chance to work with students and new hires, contributing to a culture of support.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift position, with assignments concluding on Saturdays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant specialty

BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred

Experience with Cerner is preferred

Active Virginia or Compact License is required at the time of submission

Prior travel experience is required
