• Work in a Level IV Trauma center with varied work schedule
• Must have more than 2 years of experience as an ED RN
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications : TNCC, BLS, NIHSS certification
• PALS preferred but not required
• Experience with psychiatric patients in an ED setting preferred
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Handle emergency department cases appropriate to physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and responses to treatment
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to emergency department work
