About This Role

We believe people should love what they do in this role, you will be responsible for :

• Leading and managing all Software Engineers within the Munitions group in the Textron Systems Weapons division.
• Ensuring adequate staffing levels for Software Engineers, including managing full-time employees, co-ops, interns, and contractors.
• Forecasting needs to meet program and organizational requirements.
• Driving Software Engineer development and engagement through performance management, establishing objectives, conducting reviews, and providing feedback.
• Facilitating regular communication, hosting meetings, resolving issues, and mentoring team members.
• Developing detailed skills planning and providing training opportunities to enhance capabilities.
• Overseeing customer deliverables, including review and approval of software architecture and requirements development.
• Ensuring deliverables meet internal quality expectations and customer requirements.
• Monitoring and improving departmental performance via analysis of quality metrics related to process compliance and overall team performance.
• Gathering and addressing feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $146,500 - $224,500 per year.
