Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital within the Breastcare Services department Department includes both screening and diagnostic mammography units, utilizing Hologic equipment including a prone biopsy table with Bravera biopsy device Average caseload includes 14 diagnostic scans per day and 18-25 screening studies per shift Patients include implant cases, special needs, and those requiring 4D mammograms Uses Epic EMR and Change PACS systems Day shift, typically 8 hour shifts with varying start times between 7 : 30 AM and 8 : 30 AM, 5 shifts per week No weekend, holiday or on-call requirements Will work in either screening or diagnostic, but will not float between both areas Responsibilities include performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms, including working with implants and special needs patients Procedures may include prone biopsies using dedicated equipment Lead technologist support is available but may not be onsite No starting IVs are required Scrubs of any color may be worn as long as they are clean and professional 2-3 department-specific orientation shifts provided in addition to general orientation 50-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates accepted Permanent employees must be separated from the organization for at least one year before applying for a travel assignment No blocked scheduling or special requests for scheduling will be accepted Requirements ARRT and Mammography certifications required BLS certification required 3-4 years of experience in mammography required Completion of at least 1-2 previous contracts in this specialty Experience using Hologic equipment and Epic EMR preferred Two professional references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years Active state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable Valid driver’s license required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623210.
