Job descriptionDeliver emergency medical\ncare in an acute care hospital with a 12-bed ED (all private rooms) and 4\nfast-track beds. Manage an annual patient\nvolume of 20,579 with an average of 2.1 patients per hour and a 4% admission\nrate. Collaborate with specialists\nin anesthesiology, interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery,\nmobile crisis psych, orthopedics, pediatrics, and wound care. Support the hospital’s\ntransition to a Level 4 Trauma designation (expected 2025 / 2026). Work 12-hour shifts (7 : 00\na.m. – 7 : 00 p.m. & 7 : 00 p.m. – 7 : 00 a.m.), with full-time at 120 hours per\nmonth (part-time options available). Competitive compensation\n($275-$285 / hour) + $50K commencement bonus (1099 contractor role). Paid malpractice insurance,\nincluding tail coverage. Flexibility in scheduling\nclinical shifts. Opportunities for\nprofessional growth and leadership development. Board-certified in Emergency\nMedicine (ABEM or AOBEM required). Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS\ncertifications.
Job Description
We are expanding our\nEmergency Medicine team in Oakdale, CA, and seeking board-certified Emergency\nMedicine physicians to join our growing and collaborative group. The team\nconsists of 6+ Emergency Medicine Physicians and 2.5 Advanced Practice\nProviders, providing 24-hour physician coverage and 10-hour APP coverage per\nday.
