Private Wealth Management Trust Advisor
At Regions, the Private Wealth Management Trust Advisor is responsible for the acquisition of Personal Trust, Estate, IRA and Investment Management client relationships. Responsibilities include prospecting, developing internal and external business networks for the purposes of generating new business opportunities, and participating in sales presentations. In addition to client acquisition, the Advisor is responsible for retaining and providing advisory services and support to their existing client relationships. Currently, they are responsible for the complete administration of each account they are assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs perpetual discovery, assessing a client's financial situation to retain and grow client relationships
- Generates new business opportunities including development of next generation
- Provides guidance and solutions for the development and on-going maintenance of investment allocations, goals and objectives; typically responsible for smaller and / or less complex client relationships
- Keeps abreast of trends and developments in the trust and investment management industry to ensure prudent administration and investment management
- Partners with Trust Administrator and Trust Specialist to oversee the set-up, implementation and administration of trusts, estates, IRAs, IMAs, and custody accounts. The Trust Support Administrator is in initial deployment beginning with Administrative reviews. More Administrative tasks will be added over the next 18 months.
- Ensures that account administration complies with fiduciary principles
- Coordinates client service activities with other wealth management partners
- Acts independently using judgment while developing knowledge to understand the function and its policies, procedures, compliance and legal requirements; may receive guidance from senior trust advisors and Fiduciary Support managers on more complex accounts or products
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or related fieldFive (5) years of Trust Administration, Estate / Tax Law, Financial Planning or relevant experience including direct client interaction to deliver fiduciary services (financial, tax, philanthropic and estate planning and advice, legal, insurance, real estate, asset management, trusts, estates, wills, IRAs, qualified retirement plans, or custody services).Demonstrated knowledge of fiduciary products and services, including legal, tax and regulatory requirements applicable to fiduciary relationships and the administration of trust accountsPreferences
Advanced degree (e.g., Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Taxation)Professional Certification(s) to include Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) or Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS)Skills and Competencies

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
Job Range Target : Minimum : $84,851.25 USD Median : $115,800.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans : This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
