Tax Manager, State & Local Tax

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager, State & Local Tax to join their Bethesda, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships and knowledge of their businesses
• Liaise with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs of planning compliance
• Assess and manage firm risk on tax services performed
• Research, write, and consult on various tax engagements
• Answer inquiries from state tax authorities
• Responsible for sales tax and other tax return preparation
• Supervise and mentor staff and review and evaluate their work
• Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals
