Hartford HealthCare's Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time, board-certified / board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with training and / or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position focuses on delivering excellent clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by top-tier cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Position Details and Requirements :

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and manage risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
• Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient-specific risk factors.
• Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis.
• Provide genetic counseling for familial history of early-onset heart disease.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate care.
• NBCL certification and / or obesity management training is encouraged but not required.
• Board eligible or certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and lipid management.
