About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing design. The successful candidate will lead project design, mentor staff, and ensure coordinated, high-quality engineering solutions across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical, mechanical, or plumbing design for assigned projects
Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions
Mentor and guide junior engineering staff
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and manpower needs
Conduct QA / QC reviews before deadlines
Assist in staffing, interviewing, and team growth initiatives
Required Skills
Active PE license (Texas or eligible for reciprocity)
10+ years of MEP design experience in healthcare, education, commercial, federal, or industrial sectors
Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and IBC codes
Proven ability to manage manpower, budgets, and schedules
Strong leadership, communication, and client coordination skills
Specialized Skills (Depending on Discipline)
Electrical : Load calculations, power distribution, switchgear, emergency power
Mechanical : HVAC design, hydronic systems, controls, energy modeling
Plumbing : Medical gas, domestic water, sanitary / wastewater, stormwater systems
