TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Shreveport, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 42 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Brand new unit opening - schedule will be a mix of 3 / 2 and 5 / 2 blocked schedule. Unit : 6W-MedSurg Tele Clinical Interviews Certs Required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience Required : 2 years experience. Experience in wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, Hemodialysis Catheter care, Fistulas, PCA, Pain Management.

• Traveler will be required to PASS and EKG competency exam as part of compiance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)
• First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN acute care experience
• Floating : Any Med / Surg area within the hospital, travelers must float first RN : 1 : 5-6, nights 1 : 6 Patient Types : Sepsis, Cellulitis, DVT / PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, Post Op Overflow : occasionally we will see Total Joints (Knees, Hips, Shoulders); GI / Abdominal surgeries (Hemicolectomies, Bowel Resection, etc. This is a brand new Medical Surgical / telemetry unit for this growing facility.
