Key Responsibilities

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide personalized care to help clients with their activities of daily living, including :

Assisting with transfers and mobility throughout their home

Performing light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms

Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences

Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments

Providing bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving assistance

Offering medication reminders

Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

Providing dementia care

Engaging in companionship activities such as reading, listening to music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills :

High school diploma or GED required

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs without assistance

Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Valid SC driver’s license and current automobile insurance preferred

Ability to pass a background check

Willingness to obtain a valid TB test
