Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Shipping Clerk role in Sherwood, OR . Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and customer specifications.
  • Verify and record shipment contents, weights, and dimensions to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently.
  • Generate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and assist with inventory updates.
  • Maintain organized records and a clean, efficient shipping area in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely (forklift certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
