Design Center Coordinator - (full-time) - (Administrative)

About the Role :

The Design Center Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our design center. This position is responsible for coordinating various administrative tasks that support the design team and enhance customer experience. The coordinator will manage schedules, facilitate communication between departments, and ensure coordination of events, tutorials, portfolios and related materials are executed efficiently and effectively. By maintaining organized records and providing exceptional customer service, the coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the design center. Ultimately, this role is essential in creating a seamless workflow that allows designers to focus on their creative tasks while ensuring client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; or associate's degree in a related field.

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the retail or design industry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with project management software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Previous experience in customer service or client-facing roles.

Experience or interest in interior design, dcor or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities :

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information about design services.

Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for the design team.

Maintain organized records of design projects and client interactions.

Collaborate with the design team and customers to ensure timely status of projects, adherence to deadlines and qualifying customer / Sales Rep relationships.

Assist in coordinating events, tutorials, photos, portfolios, and related materials, ensuring all materials are accurate and professionally presented.

Provide administrative support for the Design Center Sales Representatives to include 20 / 20 design, importing orders and other assistance as needed by the designers.

Ensure the reception area is presentable and refreshments are available.

Hours : Monday - Friday

8am to 5pm

Must be able to work events as needed.
