As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and technology-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and regular patrols will support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 06 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at retail, mall, and technology-oriented locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials as needed for employees, vendors, and / or visitors.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions during critical events.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
