We deploy capital in areas where we can utilise our comparative advantages, namely, a long investment horizon, global presence, sector expertise, as well as skilled, and experienced teams.

Funds & Co-Investments Group North America (FCG NA)

FCG is one of the world’s largest private equity investors. The FCG NA team aims to identify and invest with leading private equity funds, and also in selective co-investments alongside GIC PE’s fund managers primarily in the Americas, while adopting a long-term view. We have over 50 active relationships with fund managers and have coinvested in hundreds of companies.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that is one of the largest, and most established private equity investors in the world today.

What will you do as an AVP?

  • Work as a key member of small deal teams to assess and execute private equity fund investments and co-investments across various strategies and industries
  • Present investment proposals to investment committee
  • Monitor and manage existing fund investments and co-investments
  • Help build and maintain relationships with existing and new fund managers
  • Represent GIC at our investee funds’ annual investor meetings and LP advisory committee meetings
  • Work on special projects as required

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • 2-3 years of prior investment banking or consulting experience, and 2-3 years of private equity experience at either a GP or LP
  • BA / BS with strong academic qualifications. MBA is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the private equity industry
  • Maturity and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong LBO modeling, research, writing and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Analytical, balanced thinker
  • Able to manage multiple work streams and manage time appropriately
  • Team player with strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter, able to work independently and develop a point of view

    Compensation

    Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.

    Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $131,300 and $216,400.

    Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
