Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Description : We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to administer accounts payable processes, ensuring the accuracy of invoices through reconciliation and adherence to proper accounting procedures. This role involves processing AP invoices and checks, performing 3-way matching of goods / services, and maintaining vendor files and 1099 reporting.

Responsibilities :

Administer accounts payable processes to ensure invoice accuracy through reconciliation and approval.

Process accounts payable invoices and checks.

Perform 3-way matching of goods / services received, purchase orders, and vendor invoices; resolve discrepancies promptly.

Maintain vendor files and 1099 reporting.

Assist with implementation of AP automation initiatives.

Field accounts payable inquiries and employee questions, providing expedient answers and solutions.

Facilitate cash flow management by entering payables promptly and proactively following up on aging / open AP issues.

Reconcile key vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies in a timely manner.

Perform trend analysis over spend and provide recommendations for budgeting and cost control measures.

Qualifications :

Experience in accounts payable and reconciliation.

Proficiency in three-way matching.

Experience in data entry and invoicing.

6+ months of AP transactional processing experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Associate Degree or High School Diploma preferred.

Knowledge of technology with Sage or SAP.

Work Environment : The position is on-site five days a week in Golden Valley. You will work with a smaller accounting team, reporting to the team leader and collaborating closely with the AP Coordinator for data transfer to the new system and reconciliation of supplier AR statements. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr.
