What You'll Be Doing

The phlebotomist performs venipuncture, capillary blood collection and other specimen collection for all age groups. Additional duties may include specimen processing, point of care testing and documentation and patient registration.

What We're Looking For

VI) JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education : High School Diploma, graduate of an approved school of Phlebotomy Technology, P.B.T. (ASCP) certification, eligible or equivalent

Experience : Previous clinical Laboratory experience preferred

Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

VII) PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

A) Frequent standing / sitting.B) Occasionally lifts supplies / equipment.C) Ability to ambulate for 8 hours per day.D) Manual dexterity to manipulate / utilize equipment.E) Auditory acuity F) Visual acuity G) Subject to unpredictable situations.H) Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
