About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray Tech

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (9 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM)

Experience : 2 years of experience required

License : WA Rad Tech License

Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R)

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience
• Emergency Department X-Ray ability and Surgery experience preferred

Description :

This position is for a General X-Ray Tech in the Radiology department.

You will operate two X-ray rooms.

You are not required to float or cover any other areas.

Common imaging / studies performed include Fluoroscopy, Surgery (Operating Room), Emergency Department X-ray, Inpatient, and Portable X-ray.

On average, you will perform around 30 scans / studies per day.

The department uses Mckesson and EPIC for its electronic medical record and picture archiving and communication systems.

Department-specific equipment includes GE and Siemens machines.

There is no requirement for starting IVs in this role.

You will be required to work weekends and holidays.

Scrubs will be provided, and the scrub color is basic.

You will undergo a one-week department-specific orientation, Monday through Friday on day shift.

The hospital reserves the right to cancel shifts as needed.
