Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients as they arrive and depart from the clinic. The receptionist will manage front desk operations, including patient check-in / check-out, and administrative support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Patient Interaction :

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Verify patient information and update records as needed.
• Check patients in for appointments and notify clinical staff of arrivals.
• Collect co-pays and other payments at check-in or check-out.
• Answer patient questions or direct them to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in medical office administration preferred. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using electronic health records and office software. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
