Outside Operations

Overview

Raritan Valley Country Club established in 1911, is a private club in located Bridgewater, NJ. The club does approximately 15,000 rounds of golf each year. In the past year the club has seen major renovations take place with work being completed of the back patio & pool area which includes a new kitchen, locker room and outside bar.

Experience Required

The Outside Operations and Players Services staff are responsible for assisting in the professional and efficient management of the Outside Service operations. The candidate should ensure the highest quality of service which meets the expectations of Club members and performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Providing the highest level of service to club members and guests. Is knowledgeable of members and anticipates their needs.

Managing the tee sheet and starting duties, providing a smooth transition to the first and tenth tees. Professionally manages and accommodates members and guests with walk-ins and tee time issues/problems.

Assists with organizing golf bags in the staging area for regular play and range for the day. Work with professional staff keeping informed of daily activities & requests.

Assists with managing and maintaining range ball rotation, rental club inventory, bag room and Outside Service supplies.

Assist with tournaments as directed; including cart preparation, cart staging and set-up, tee signs, cart signs.

Cart Fleet Management; this includes detailing and maintenance of a fleet of 65 carts.

Assists with daily opening and closing procedures.

Assist in the daily maintenance of the practice range and short game facilities, clean picking on Sundays.

Enthusiasm to work closely with other staff members in a team environment.
