Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN - Now Hiring

For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com.\n\nAs a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Wellness Center located in Charleston, WV. The scheduled hours are PRN as needed Monday, 7am-7pm, Tuesday, 7am-5pm, Wednesday, 7am-4pm, Thursday, 8am-5pm, Friday, 8am-2 : 30pm, and Saturday, 7am-12pm.\n

• Primary care experience a plus\n
• Strong phlebotomy skills required\n\nWhat You'll Do\n
• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice\n
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed\n
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)\n
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice\n
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures\n
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records\n
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care\n
• Performs other duties as assigned\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred\n
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required\n
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services\n
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN / COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites\n
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic\n\nWork-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
